Two most common Myths in chord finding

Feel like sharing today...

Most of the newbies founds that finding chords for songs is difficult. Well, let me share some useful tips on chord finding that can wipe out this limiting belief.

Myth 1
I need to be familiar with chords in different families in order to be a good chord finder.

Truth:
In fact you just need to be familiar with ONE chord family!!!!
Lets say you plan to find the chord for a song in E key but you only familiar with C key. What you need to do is to find the chord with C, and then transpose it into the E, or you can even use capo to achieve E key!!

Myth 2
Many songs are composed by complicated chords.

Truth:
In fact most of the great songs are composed by the basic chord combination.
Have you ever encounter this?? When trying to figure out the chords for a certain song, you keep trying but you just not able to get it, after few more rounds you ask for google helps, and it turns out that it is actually is made up of the most simplest chords that you can ever imagine...
So, be open minded, do not limit yourself by thinking that you not knowing enough chords do chord finding...
